Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment in Greene County district court during the week ending June 2 as follows: Matthew James Cummings, 36, of Jefferson, theft- first degree; and Noah M. Winkelman, 34, of Jefferson, operating while intoxicated- first offense. Trial dates were set for Sept. 11 for Cummings and for Aug. 22 for Winkelman.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Zein Mohammed Ibrahim, 36, of Harcourt, stalking- violation of protective order; Jason William Sheldahl, 52, of Scranton, criminal mischief- fourth degree and trespass/ injury or damage more than $300; Alexis Hannah Free, 28, of Bayard, burglary- third degree motor vehicle; Christopher James Lehrkamp, 37, of Scranton, animal abuse; and Alicia Marie Hawkins, 32, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana.
